Bars in the plastics technology

We are already working intensively on future topics in many industries. For example, a new generation of plastics requires new technologies in plastics processing.

These in turn require tooling alloys from our bars that can withstand the new challenges.

Extruder screws

Tough and wear-resistant tooling materials are used for the production of extruder screws and tips. In applications where toughness is paramount, the material ASP® 2005 has been tried and tested as a standard. The materials LC 200 N and CPM® 420V are used for corrosive attack.

You can get bars made of nickel-based alloys for particularly aggressive plastics. The Alloy 625 or HAYNES® 242® Alloy with diameters from 0.236 to 7.087 inch are suitable for this.
